Dr. Ted Seago, a native Texan, has lived in Montgomery County for 14 years and been married to Johnnie K. Seago for 35 years. Together, they have raised 8 children of which 5 are adopted. They have also served as foster parents to three additional teenage girls. Five children are now married, two are in college and one son is serving as a United States Marine. The Seagos have ten grand children and live in the north Lake Conroe area.
Pastor Seago is a life-long educator and pastor and the founding and current Senior pastor at Grace Community Church at Fish Creek, and has served in church ministry for 39 years. He is also a candidate for the Texas House of Representatives, District 16.
Dr. Seago has a Bachelor and Masters degrees in education from Lamar University and earned his Doctor of Education degree from University of Houston. In addition to his pastoral duties, Ted is the Headmaster, classroom instructor and also a college professor.
Pastor Ted is a trustee at the John Witherspoon Seminary and College, the Executive Director of the Family-Directed Education Foundation, and serves of the Executive Committee of the Houston Area Pastor’s Council and has been active in The Montgomery County Right to Life activities.
Ted and Johnnie Seago are also small business owners where they have owned and operated Parent and Child Educational Services since 1990.
Dr. Seago was heavily involved during the 82nd and 83rd Legislative Session assisting representatives and Texas Right to Life in their efforts to pass the Sonogram Bill and the Pro-Life Omnibus Bill, HB2. His son, John Seago, is the Texas Right to Life Legislative Director. Dr. Ted is a member of the NRA and a strong supporter of the Second Amendment.
